> I am based in Victoria, British Columbia (on Vancouver Island).
> Not at the moment - I am only accepting individuals that are based in Canada.
> Yes - as long as you currenlty reside in Canada. We can do appointments from the comfort of you own home or office via telephone, Zoom or Skype.

> Fill out the Contact Anita form found under the Contact page. Once I receive your message, I will contact you via your preferred method of contact. I will have you fill out a simple questionnaire to determine if we are a great fit to work together.
> Discovery calls are helpful to identify if you are a good candidate for my services. During the call we will discuss in brief your health goals, and I will make some suggestions and outline what working together would look like as far as cost and the number of visits you would benefit from
> I ask that you bring any medical records, supplements, medication and lab test results that you have.
> Once your initial program is complete, we will re-evaluate your case and determine your best steps moving forward.
> Absolutely, if you require additional support after your program is complete, I will provide you with a few affordable options. My goal is to provide you with the right amount of support to help you on your journey to meet your nutritional and dietary goals.
> If you are a self-starter and like to be independent it is not mandatory to use all appointments as you have direct clinician access. The program’s core value is in evaluating your history, building your clinical case, ordering the right testing, educating and designing a unique solution for you that addresses your six pillars. Our goal is to empower you and guide you on the right path so you can use these strategies for the rest of your life. You are always welcome to use the remaining 3 appointments as needed to focus on your clinical, nutritional or coaching needs.
> Lab screening is not necessary, but to help optimize your health, I may suggest tests that you can do on your own at home (i.e. finger prick, stool, hair, urine, saliva testing). I may also provide a list of suggested screening tests that you can work through with your medical team (i.e. Family Doctor, Naturopath) whom can order the tests on your behalf.
> Functional medicine testing assists our clinicians in addressing the root cause of underlying disorders. Functional medicine testing may include blood, stool, urine, saliva or hair samples. In-depth testing offers clinicians more information about your metabolic, nutritional, and detoxification status as well as further details on your hormonal, endocrine, gastrointestinal, and immune system function. This reliable testing helps to address what led to the present state of illness and why.
> The lab testing is typically done at home. In some instances you might have to get blood work done. We will direct you to the lab that coordinates that. Many of the tests have shipping included in the cost of the kits, if not you will be responsible for the shipping. You will get instructions in more detail on how to do the test kits and the kits come with clear instructions as well. Payment is made directly to the lab to ensure you have the lowest price possible.
> By joining a Nutritionally Wise for Wellness Program you have access to direct pricing on lab test kits, which ensure you pay the lowest price possible. Please ask for the latest lists of test available.
> There are many factors involved in determining how long it will take for an individual to heal, such as your level of participation and commitment, your individual health issues, and your current state of vitality. It’s important to understand that it’s not reasonable to expect to undo decades of damage in just a few weeks. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to healing, because we’re all unique individuals with different histories, abilities, lifestyles, and needs. This means the healing process will be as unique as you and we like to allow it to unfold naturally as your body permits.
> A food and Mood journal helps me identify possible foods, or eating patterns that may be contributing to your health issues,
> Unfortunately, as we age and the fact that it is just not possible to get all of our nutritional needs from food anymore as the soil is so severely depleted, In addition, Combine lack of nutrition with the toxic overload we are exposed to on a daily basis ranging from our food supply, water, environmental, hygiene and cleaning products, is it really any wonder why health is declining?
> I recommend supplements that only use whole food ingredients. Whole food supplements are a complex formula that include plant and animal extracts. Using concentrated forms of foods like Brussels sprouts, kale, and alfalfa can have an extremely therapeutic effect on the body. By providing the body with proper nutrition, you allow the body the opportunity to health on it’s own.
In addition, some supplements that you buy from stores may have common allergens like corn, gluten, and soy. These ingredients are used as fillers but may cause health issues.
> I do not treat conditions. However, I am able to provide educations to individuals who have a diagnosis on the body’s nutritional needs, and am able to offer guidance healthy lifestyle strategies to help you reclaim your health.
> I am not an Oncologist and not able to address your cancer directly. I would recommend you work with you medical team for direct treatment. However I would be happy to in be in a supportive role as part of a team to help you heal!
> We accept, cash, Visa or MasterCard.
We do not accept cheques or debit cards at this time.
> Unfortunately I do not accept any form of Health Insurance for payment. I am able to accept Visa, Mastercard, E-Transfer, and Cash payments.
> Possibly - please check with your HR department to be sure.
> Yes, your first appointment is one of your appointments. I apply your payment to the total cost of the program and therefore you are paying into the program when you schedule your first appointment.
